For Good: Is there anyone in your OC's life who had an undeniable positive impact on who they are as a person? How did knowing this person improve your OC's life?

It would probably be Roe!! They met a couple of years prior to the events of the game and she is one of his few close friends. The two met at his father's estate one night when el was storming out of the place. El had just decided to cut off all ties with his father & was dealing with a lot and Roe was able to keep him afloat. She's the one person to know who his father is and stayed with him as he tried to rebuild his life after he broke things off with his buisness partner. If he hadn't met Roe El would've fucked off to the forest where he grew up and found himself living a very isolated life that he probably wouldn't have wanted to continue so he owes her a lot. more than that though the two get on well and for once he hs a friend that isn't worried about using him for gold or his connections seeing as she has enough of her own. when they're reunited it lifts his mood a ton and gives him another reason to get the job done

Friendship: What's your OC like as a friend? How are they at making new friends? What are the most important friendships in your OC's life?

El is a good friend to those who earn it! He protects those he cares for and will do almost anything for the people he calls a friend but he's learnt the hard way that he can be too quick to trust. He's often loyal to a fault which is something he learned the hard way and has fallen victim to his friend's own ambitions in the past, enabling them to take advantage of him. He would've called the inner circle of his crew true friends until they betrayed him for some coin and power but now he has Roe & Brandy As the game goes on he slowly becomes cloest with Astarion + Shadowheart. he puts up a shield and lets the others think that they know the real him, the others aren't privy to his whole story until they reach the city.

Past: Does your OC have any past partners? How did the relationship(s) end? Are any of their exes still in their life, and if so, do they get along?

he has one (loser)! Zyl who was the brother of his ex buisness partner (Vana) . The guardian takes a form similar to the both of them as they were twins. (this wasnt fun for el to see and is very ??? to think abt when u remember el fucks the emperor in this form)

The two kept their relationship secret and somehow did for almost a decade, not wanting to complicate work but in the end it fell apart when El was betrayed. he only knew who to blame thanks to Zyl who told him and gave him info on where to find Vana. They broke up around 2 years prior to the game & as far as El knows Zyl is still somewhere in the city.

Exit: Has your OC ever had someone important leave their life in a way that was unremarkable, unintentional, or clumsy? How do they feel about it? Is there any chance they'll meet again?

Think this can be about Zyl again. Their breakup was a very quick thing. The moment Zyl told El that Vana was the one who framed him Zyl asked if it was the end of them. El said yes and left soon after that. El never tried to go looking for him after they said their goodbyes and saw him as a part of a time in his life he wanted to be over. El doesn't hold many negative feelings for Zyl but merely sees it as something that wasn't meant to work out. He realised that he didn't even really fight to keep the relationship going. It was just something that was never going to last. I might have them meet again once the group reach the city but there are others el's going to reunite with first.

First: Has your OC ever been the one to leave first? Why did they go, and who did they leave behind? Do they regret it?

The day El was taken by the mindflayers he had left Roe after an arugment. it was their biggest fight since meeting and the first time el had left something unresolved between them. it started over nothing and blew up into a huge fight that had both of them throwing things. at one point Roe used magic and El said enough was enough and left Roe's estate without another word. El didn't even get time to think about the fight until he had crashed on the beach. he spent most of his downtime over the next few days worrying about Roe and if she was safe as he was taken close to her house. it made him watch his temper but didn't stop him from snapping at the group when he got wound up. He doesnt enjoy being angry and if possible gets it out through fighting but when hes pushed over the edge its nasty and he tends to run before he does something he cant fix.

Future: Is there anyone your OC is looking forward to meeting or to seeing again? Who? What might that meeting or reunion look like?

He wants to see Brandy again. especially after finding out more about shadowheart & the shar scene in the city. as far as he knows she's still in the city but he'll end up finding her at last light. Brandy actively tries to sabotage their attempts at fixing the land surrounding moonrise and after shadowheart spares Aylin, Brandy leaves the group. El doesnt find her again until the confrontation at the sharran cloister. He also wants to pay his father a visit. because with his amount of near death experiences hes done with letting what his fathers done to him slide. at the very least he wants to have a go at the man. its not gonna go well!!

I’ve been elected to talk about a character relationship in my work in 3 bullet points. I’ve decided to pick the most complicated one to do this with because I’m.. hubristic. So here goes, Genfae Everyman and Arna [nolastname] from my unfinished novel Not-Yet-Illuminated :3

Broad strokes: Genfae (she/her) is the recently crowned Princess of her principality; she comes from no money (a broke rice farmer deep in debt to the local loan shark), but is believed to be the newest reincarnated soul of the Prince Incipient. Arna (she/her) is her attendant, and an absolute mess of a little fuckin homo who is the perpetually reincarnating iteration of the Prince Incipient’s wife. The difference between them being that Arna can remember her past lives, Genfae can’t. The two of them met when Genfae was brought to the palace for the first time, and drank together all night while Genfae complained about her very fucked up situation. Icons. After like four days, Arna and Genfae began sleeping together, months after that they admitted they were in a relationship, months after that Arna confessed her strange secret and long past. Yknow. Standard lesbianing. Genfae has no idea how to deal with Arna’s whole deal and probably would’ve rather just stayed hooking up if she hadn’t caught feelings big time. Oops!

The main thing with them is loyalty. Arna is eternally loyal to the throne, or rather to the wandering soul of her first love (she’s not very healthy abt relationships good for her), and her position as the High Attendant to the Sundered Throne means she is literally sworn to carry the burden of any and all of the ruling Princet’s needs. She takes this very seriously. Especially on the rare occasion that she actually believes the living Princet is in fact her soulmate reborn. Lucky for Genfae, Arna is moooostly sure about her. Even before she believed Genfae was legit, she couldn’t help but fall for her, and would/has died for her as many times as it will take to keep her everything safe. See what I mean abt the unhealthy boundaries on this girl. Love that for her. Genfae on the other hand is a commitment phobic mess who hasn’t had a relationship last longer than the time it takes to get dressed in… ever. So they’re both great at this. Especially since Arna wants commitment in a way Genfae can’t ever really live up to. How do you tell your new girlfriend you want to take things slow when she believes fully that you’re her late husband reborn who she’s been searching for for literally thousands of years. Genfae doesn’t even know how to ask someone out under normal circumstances.

THAT SAID. they’re very sweet imo and would do anything for each other. Including start a war with a secret organization with a hard on for killing kings. (Choice sweet moments as proof: Arna taught Genfae to read since she never learned, common folk type shit. Genfae really helped Arna get out of her well put up cocoon and likes to trick her into having fun. Genfae likes dragging Arna with her on little outings, most notably to enjoy an alchemical bath meant to symbolize the touch of death in Genfae’s culture, fitting considering both of their whole vibe. The two of them like to have little secret lunches together when they can since their relationship isn’t strictly allowed, and while they both suck at keeping work out of things have a rule not to talk crown business at lunch so they can have time that’s just for them. Arna spent a lot of time teaching Genfae how to act around high society and it’s extremely hot to her when Genfae nails it, leading to lots of Arna quietly teasing her wife under tables at fancy dinners for the court because Arna is really hot, etc.) If they were a normal couple and if Arna wasn’t putting enough pressure on Genfae to crack a submarine open, they’d probably be unstoppable. One of the bigger stumbling blocks in their relationship is arna’s string of exes going back pretty much through every generation still living, notably the High Shine Beryl Thorpe (basically a fantasy Cardinal who’s also a vampire long story), the late Illuminated Prince Kairus Everyman (who Arna may or may not have assassinated in her previous life oops), and Senior Cabinet Councilor Hearsay [nolastname] (the leader of that secret organization oops and also Genfae’s largest opposition within the royal court. Has a bit of a jealous streak), all of whom pose a threat to— oh fuck is Arna actually Ramona Flowers?? Fuck. God dammit. Fucking hell what have I done. How did I not notice I’ve been writing them for three years god dammit.

I’ve rambled too long; but I think it counts. I might post some stuff from their story on here one day! We’ll see. Also I’m typing this on mobile so if there’s fucked up spacing that’s why and I’m not fixing it 🤙🏽

holden grew up between upstate new york and manhattan in an extremely wealthy family. from the outside, his family had the appearance of perfection, but underneath that facade lay years of shocking and hidden family secrets that one way or another got out into society, even if his family tried to put them down as merely rumors.

his father is a highly respected but also deeply feared business man/media magnate known for his cutthroat attitude in his business dealings and personal relationships. he had an extremely difficult childhood, having been orphaned at a young age and passed from relative to relative around europe, many of whom were not very kind to him. still, he was incredibly intelligent and wanted to make something of himself, having this belief in the american dream and wanting to move there if he ever got the chance. after attending college on a scholarship, he was able to use his connections and move to new york, where he founded his own start-up that eventually led to him building his own personal fortune.

his mother was very much a hustler. she grew up poor in new york and at an early age, learned how to use her good looks to manipulate men for the finer things in life. she had a short stint as a model before she met holden’s father, charming him enough to call it quits with his first wife. underneath her obvious beauty, however, was a fiery temper and substance abuse problem. the thing about her was that she really wasn’t made to be a wife and mother. holden’s father thought he could turn her into this perfect socialite/housewife (marrying her and then proceeding to have his older brother, cal, and holden in a very short span of time), but the task proved impossible. she was always only looking out for herself and didn’t enjoy being tied down, certainly not with kids to take care of despite the nannies his father provided. they fought constantly, and their home life was extremely unstable. it was a normal occurrence for holden to see his mother being dragged off to an institution by his father’s security guards or for his mother to use him and his brother as bait to get his father to give her money for drugs, to leave him, or sometimes just to try and get back with him.

eventually, she finally did leave, having told holden and his brother the three of them were moving to los angeles, but leaving without them and dying of a drug overdose shortly after. holden was about six at the time and thinks he has successfully hidden this entire episode from his memory, but it’s definitely something that affects him whether he likes it or not.

although his family claims this was merely just a rumor, it was often said that there was some foul play behind her death and that his father had some involvement, not wanting her to ever leave him and move on with her life. while holden deep down may admit that this could be the case, it’s never something he would really say.

at this point, his father rarely talks about his mother and when he has, he has poisoned her memory so much, holden feels like he never really had one. when he was younger, he’d often make up stories about her in his head, which were far different than who she actually was. it helped at the time, but after a while it was easier to just forget her altogether.

while his father cares deeply for his children and has provided them a life of ease and luxury, he’s certainly not innocent in all of this mess. he’s extremely manipulative and often psychologically traumatizing to them as well. he often finds his children to be lazy and ungrateful and resents the way they’ve been raised (even though it was his own doing), while he suffered from poverty and abuse in his own childhood. he often pits the two of them against each other, always trying to see who’s the stronger, smartest, who will do whatever it takes to be the best, especially because there’s always talk about who’s going to be the one to be the one who’s going to take over when he retires. it is usually said to be his older brother, because it’s no secret that he’s his father’s favorite.

because of this, holden and his brother never really got along. or so it seems. they did when they were younger, but their hatred runs so deep that the even thought of that feels like a distant reality. they’re only two years apart, but they couldn’t be more different. while his brother is a complete perfectionist and will do just about anything to please his father, holden gave up on that idea along time ago. it didn’t matter what he did, he never seemed to be able to measure up against his brother. maybe it was because he was younger, maybe it was because he was more sensitive and seemed to feel things at a deeper level, maybe it was because he wasn’t as competitive, or maybe there was no explanation why his father simply liked cal better. holden’s never seemed to figure out. he’s always felt like the screwup of the family, so eventually that’s what he became.

he started drinking and using drugs at an early age, basically trying anything to mask his pain and trauma. while his brother excelled academically and in sports in high school, holden never applied himself. he fell in with the wrong crowd and gave up his spot on the football team to run around the streets of new york and engage in all kinds of debauchery. it was common for him to disappear for days on end, spending his father’s money and racking up drug and gambling debts. obviously his father wasn’t happy about this and would constantly remind him of that, but he didn’t exactly do anything to stop him either. if this was a cry for help or attention, it didn’t exactly have the desired effect and only left holden feeling empty. 

he started dating this older hippie girl who was in college while he was a senior in high school who influenced him to want to detach from his family and money and the crowd he was running in. he kind of... took it to the extreme and started talking like timothee chalamet in lady bird lmao, even though he reeked of privilege. honestly, it was just another way to annoy his father and brother, which was always his goal at the time. they ended up breaking up because he cheated on her, but he kept some of her ideas and mindset afterwards.

after high school, he wasn’t really sure what he wanted to do. so he ran off to europe for a year and didn’t talk to anyone from home. just traveled around by himself with little money and getting into all kinds of trouble. he probably would’ve stayed longer, but one morning he came across an american newspaper while he was in greece reporting on how his father had suffered a heart attack. he rushed back to the states and luckily his father has survived, but in that moment of weakness he manipulated him into attending college. his father pulled some strings and got him into yates, and while it isn’t exactly his idea of fun, he’s taking it day by day and looking it as another way to push back actually having to enter the real world.

~ personality wise ~

acts like he hates his family, new york, and everything that comes attached with money and privilege, but completely reaps the benefits of all these things when he can. claims everything having to do with high society is vapid and that he wants more out of life.

a bit of a compulsive liar. will make up fake identities and pretend to be other people or tell people he doesn’t know some sob story about growing up poor. rlly just gets off on stuff like that and doesn’t tell the truth. like ever.

doesn’t always like people knowing how rich he is or who his father is. for those that do know, he doesn’t like to talk much about his family. probably won’t ever say a word about his mother.

has no real ambitions in life or any sort-of life plan. has switched his major at least 10 times and never goes to his classes.

very much a hedonist. likes to party and hates being alone. hooks up with too many people and finds it very difficult to be in any sort of real relationship. he’s just not reliable or faithful enough.

also goes through phases where feels like he doesn’t connect with people? or that he hates everyone?

always attracts chaos of some kind. black eyes from a fight over kissing someone’s girlfriend or owing his drug dealer money.

lives life day by day. doesn’t plan for the future. usually always drunk or high.

kind of... morally ambiguous. with the way he was raised, he doesn’t see life as black or white. it’s sort of grey. usually doesn’t do the right thing, usually doesn’t feel bad about it... but there is a heart there somewhere. he just doesn’t usually care enough to use it.

rlly tries to avoid feelings as much as possible. he’s actually quite a sensitive person, but after being constantly told that makes him weak by his father and having a robot of a brother he’s always felt ashamed by that. so he uses his vices to try and not feel things.

A/N: I have never been with an abusive partner or experienced the PTSD that comes with that, so I really hope I’ve written this okay. I tried to write it with as much care as I could. Also a PSA, if anyone needs to talk about anything, my asks/messages are always open. As always, feedback is appreciated!

Carol had always sensed that there was something you hadn’t told her. She’d felt an immediate connection with you since the day you’d met, so naturally her eyes always managed to land on you. As a result, she’d noticed certain things.

The way you would flinch if anyone moved too quickly towards you. The way you would immediately shrink into yourself if any of the male Avengers raised their voice, even if they were just fooling around. How you would hold your breath for a moment at the sound of a door slamming shut.

She never brought any of these things up with you. It clearly was something you were not comfortable talking about and she would never pressure you into telling her anything or make you uncomfortable.

You weren’t exactly an Avenger. As much as you’d like to be, you knew that you weren’t anywhere near ready for it, and you weren’t sure if you ever would be. Still, you were smart and liked to help out where you could, so you helped plan out most of the missions the others would go on.

You’d started spending most of your time at the Avenger’s facility, mainly to keep yourself busy and stay around people, and it certainly helped that you got on really well with majority of the team.

You felt safest with Carol, though, and even though you knew you’d gotten through some of the hardest parts of your journey on your own, it still felt nice knowing that you had someone you thought you could eventually completely trust.

When the two of you started dating, Carol began paying closer attention to your reactions to things, being careful to slow her movements slightly when she moved close to you and she would use only gentle touches at first when she touched you.

It was like she knew without you even having to say anything.

You’d found that the weather was always triggering for you, especially during thunderstorms. The sound of thunder echoing around you, wind and rain violently slamming against the windows, would always bring you right back to how things used to be. You couldn’t help but close yourself off from everyone as your memories would return to you like a slap in the face.

Even in Carol’s arms, where you usually felt your safest, on stormy nights you would struggle to sleep. And even when you could sleep, you would often wake with a start a short while later from the nightmares you would have.

When this happened, you would try not to wake Carol, instead just continuing to lay there with your eyes open for the rest of the night. If Carol did wake up, you’d do your best to reassure her that everything was fine, not wanting to worry her.

The last few consecutive nights had been stormy, leaving you restless and without sleep. You of course desperately wanted to get some sleep, but despite your heavy eyelids, you just couldn’t. When you eventually felt your eyes closing, a clap of thunder had you jolting up, your heart beating like crazy and your eyes darting around the room.

You lifted your head from where it was resting on Carol’s chest before you gently remove her arms from around you, careful not to wake her as you left the bedroom.

You turned the dining room light on before sitting at the dining table, frustrated at your lack of sleep. Another crack of thunder made you jump, flinching into yourself before you covered your face with your hands and let yourself quietly sob.

“Y/N?” The voice from behind you made you jump, furiously wiping at the tears on your face.

“Carol,” you let out, your tired, broken voice reaching her while she watched you with concern. She saw your tear stained face and on impulse rushed towards you. When you took in a quick breath, though, she mentally facepalmed and slowed herself down as she reached you.

“What’s going on?” She asked, taking the seat next to your own.

“I just can’t sleep,” you replied, holding a breath when the wind banged against something outside. Carol looked at you carefully.

“Y/N. I know it’s more than that.” She spoke softly, nothing but love and concern in her eyes. You blinked and another tear rolled down your cheek. “You know I’ve got you. I’m here to protect you, okay? Always.”

Your breathing was a little uneven and you felt torn, not wanting to burden Carol with the weight of your own problems. You’d always been told to keep them to yourself and you feared going against that, but Carol was starting to make you feel like you didn’t have to do it on your own anymore.

You nodded at her before a roll of thunder echoed through the apartment, causing you to flinch. Carol hesitated, moving closer to you.

“Can I touch you?” She asked and you nodded, her fingertips travelling down your arm until she reached your hand, squeezing it gently with her own.

You were amazed by how safe you felt with Carol, leaning your body towards her and she pulled her chair directly next to yours and let you lean into her shoulder while she waited patiently next to you. You evened your breathing out, preparing yourself to speak.

“There was this guy,” you said, your voice sounding rough and weak. Carol didn’t move beside you, besides gently rubbing her thumb over your knuckles to let you know she was listening.

“We dated for 3 years and he- he hurt me.” You heard Carol take in a sharp breath at your words. “He hurt me so bad, Carol. And he got inside my head, you know?” Carol nodded her head, blinking rapidly to fight back the tears that suddenly stung at her eyes.

“I’ve tried finding ways to deal with it all on my own. But there’s still things that trigger me.”

“Like thunderstorms,” Carol whispered and you nodded at her.

“Yeah, like thunderstorms.”

Carol furrowed her brow and pursed her lips, anger flashing across her face, and you worried for just a second that maybe you should have kept it all to yourself before Carol turned her head to press her lips to your temple.

“You don’t have to deal with it on your own anymore. I’m never gonna let anyone hurt you again, okay?” She pulled back to look you in the eyes and you hesitated. “I mean it. I’m not going to let you go through any of it alone. Never again.”

She spoke with such sincerity that you found yourself nodding.

“Okay.”

Carol smiled at you. “Okay. Did you want to come back to bed?” You nodded at her, suddenly feeling exactly how exhausted you really were. She stood from her seat and you followed her lead, walking back into the bedroom and waiting for Carol to get settled on the bed before finding comfort once again against her chest, her arms holding you tightly against her.

“I’m not going to sleep until you do, so if you need to talk, just talk.”

“Carol, you don’t have to do that.”

“I know, but I’m gonna do whatever it takes to make you feel safe.” You felt her kiss the top of your head and it was impossible to stop the tear that escaped your eye. You snuggled even more into her body.

“I love you, Carol.”

She released a breath before tightening her arms around you.

“I love you more.”

at  seventeen,  isabella  had  her  first  coke  scandal  after  pictures  of  her  were  leaked  to  the  tabloids.  it  was  like  a  rich  kids  right  of  passage.  her  parents  were  furious  with  her.  for  a  moment,  isabella  felt  hopeful.  they  were  furious  because  they  cared,  right  ?  unfortunately  for  her,  it  wasn’t  because  of  what  she  was  doing.  they  were  only  angry  she  was  stupid  enough  to  get  caught

isabella’s  mother  took  care  of  cleaning  up  her  image.  after  all,  damage  control  is  what  she  knew  how  to  do  best.  isabella  was  forced  to  take  a  break  from  social  media.  according  to  the  statement  her  family  put  out,  she  was  under  a  lot  of  stress  from  running  a  social  media  empire  at  such  a  young  age.  as  per  her  mother’s  instructions,  her  social  media  blackout  lasted  a  year.  by  the  time  she  was  back  in  the  public  eye,  she  had  graduated  high  school  and  was  started  the  next  chapter  of  her  life

however,  the  year  she  took  away  from  social  media  was  the  most  time  she  had  ever  spent  with  her  parents.  she  was  forced  to  stay  with  them  so  they  could  keep  her  from  further  tarnishing  the  perfect  image  they  had  created  for  themselves.  during  this  time,  she  found  out  she  hated  her  parents.  they  were  cold,  and  completely  emotionless

delilah was born on a crisp autumn night, october 15th, 1970, to be exact. she was born in a tiny apartment in the middle of a college party. delilah’s birth mom was extremely young ( high school age ) when she got pregnant, and wasn’t sure who the father was. she came from a wealthy family, but ran away when she realized she was pregnant

her  birth  mother  also  struggled  with  alcoholism  and  substance  abuse.  those  close  to  her  did  their  best  to  make  sure  she  wasn’t  using  any  of  these  substances  during  her  pregnancy,  but  she  snuck  a  few  drinks  and  pills  here  and  there  whenever  she  got  the  chance

after giving birth to delilah, things only got worse. she continued drinking and using drugs more than ever before, often times neglecting her baby. she attempted to raise her baby with her boyfriend, who was much older than her, but he ultimately was no help and only there for a good time. delilah lived with her birth mom the first three ( almost four ) years of her life

finally, her birth mom’s parents tracked her down and discovered she had a child. once they saw the conditions she was living in, they told her she needed to put delilah up for adoption before the state took her away. so that is exactly what she did, and has been in and out of rehab ever since

delilah was adopted around a year later. at this point, she was nearly 5. she was extremely happy and felt so grateful to be adopted. while in the foster care system, she had met a lot of older kids who had been there for years

delilah’s family was so loving and welcoming, she truly could not have asked for more. 3 years later, they adopted jude and delilah became a big sister  !!!  she is extremely protective over her sister, she would literally do anything for her :’) and their parents clearly loved kids, since their basement also became the hangout spot for everyone

( donna and i are still plotting out the details about their family, but it’s only them and their mom now o: )

lila had to grow up pretty fast, so she always much more responsible and mature for her age. still, despite everything, she always maintained an optimistic outlook on life. she loves life and the people in hers so much, she just has so much love to spread  !!!!

delilah developed a passion for feminism at a young age, thanks to her mother. she would literally print out feminist readings and pass them out at lunch in high school. she’d also give speeches about feminism at school. some people disliked her for it, saying she was too opinionated and stuff, but it never stopped her. she also pretty much always knew she wanted to be a social worker

she is obsessed with love  !!!!  like this girl literally falls in love 5 times a day with a stranger on the bus, the coolest celebrity on tv, the girl that sits next to he in class, etc. i think she is definitely a relationship person, because she’s a nurturer and wants to be there for people. however, i think sometimes she gets caught up in the fairy tale of it all. like she wants to be in love so bad, sometimes she rushes into things or idealizes the situation in her head, so things might not exactly work out

delilah isn’t very open with her emotions. she mostly keeps them to herself, because she doesn’t want anyone to have to worry about her or anything. she tries to deal with everything herself mostly

she sees the beauty in everything, which is like partially because she’s a huge optimist. she also cannot resist pretty things. she once bought a pink guitar from a thrift store because she thought it was pretty, even though she has no idea how to play. however, she wants to learn, especially because she loves to sing ( this bitch is literally always humming )

here’s the best way i can describe daisy: take the love for fashion and luxury of carrie bradshaw and cher horowitz, mix it with the power and intensity of olivia pope, and add in all the meanness of every single rude, b*tchy person you can think of. that’s her.

daisy was born to a huge italian family who all had odd jobs; her dad specialized in fixing the batteries on smoke detectors. her mom ran the laundromat down the street. a lot of her uncles owned car detailing businesses and she had a couple of older cousins who were janitors or low-level staff members at the local middle schools. while her family was fine with this, because hey, it paid the bills, daisy, who had always had expensive tastes from the start, turned her nose at it all.

she, unsurprisingly, became the first in her family to make it past high school. daisy did absolutely every major, resume-boosting thing while she was in school, because she learned very quickly that she liked power and being better than others. there was something she loved about coming home from school and getting to brag about her debate team win while her cousins could only nod. 

she was great at school, and she made sure everyone knew. she did mock trial, debate, sga -- she even joined the environmental club just for the clout. and then one of the people in her model un group said she should run for president one day.

it made sense. daisy likes power, she likes bossing people around and always being right, and she doesn’t take shit from anyone. she’d be a fantastic fucking president. so, naturally, after finishing college and pushing through an internship she didn’t really like just so she could have another bullet point on her resume, daisy applied for an internship at masters international. she knew she’d get the gig, obviously.

daisy loves fashion and luxury. she spends majority of her money on vintage chanel tweed matching sets to wear into the office, she has red bottoms that give her four extra inches of height, and her foundation costs over a hundred dollars. you’d think she’d want to be on the floors that deal with vogue and help organize new york fashion week, but that’s not going to get her a presidency, duh. daisy interns on the floors that handle the news broadcasts so she gets firsthand knowledge on all the shit, political or otherwise, that goes down in the country.

i would love to type more but i don’t want to hint at anything that points to her secret, so i’m going to explain a little more about daisy’s personality

she’s so, so controlling and bossy. she wants to be the absolute best at everything, and the shining star of it all. daisy’s definitely an attention hog, and she’ll bust her ass on her work to make sure she’s better than everyone else on the floor with her. 

daisy’s very picky about who she hangs out with. as a future presidential candidate, optics are very important, obviously. she only surrounds herself with people she deems to be good for her image, and she’ll gladly let you know that she thinks you’re too shitty to be around. she cares a lot about how she appears to other people, you know.

daisy is selfish and rude, and truly doesn’t care if she hurts someone’s feelings. she speaks her mind and has absolutely no filter -- which gets her into a lot of trouble, i’m sure you can imagine.

jude is a very sweet boy. he was quarterback in high school, got good grades, and every sunday he went to church with his family because Bible Belt things. homeboy is named after a book in the Bible. he’s all about southern manners and hospitality, about treating people kindly and always putting others first, and he always keeps his morals in check. or, he used to.

when you’re home it’s hard to stray away from what you’re used to. the same held true for jude in college, because even though he went to u of alabama (can you hear him yelling roll tide), he was still in his home state so he felt those morals still stuck with him. but then he applied for law school and got a full ride to nyu law, and whew, the Temptation

‘cuz you see, jude was always a sweetie pie. he still is! in high school he was super popular because he was tall and cute and athletic but funny and brought extra biscuits from home to hand out in homeroom. i’m not gonna lie, he’s charming af. he’s smooth and he has good jokes. the girls loved him but the little sh*t had a purity ring.

but then he got to nyc for law school and let me tell you. alabama is not close at all to manhattan, now is it. jude was fine the first couple of weeks, just worked on his case briefs in his shoe box of a starter apartment... but the women. homeboy started sleeping around a LOT after a while. y’know wet dreamz by j cole where he’s like haven’t been inside p*ssy since i came out one? yeah, that was jude until ny, and he’s very much still like that

we met over a year ago in discord thanks to the8bitdrummer who is a super positive, cheerful, extremely talented dude who improvs drumming to literally Any Song Ever on twitch

he had a discord server n we hit it off there and like a couple months after we met we were in this voice chat in my own server and it was me, him, and another friend of ours named Corm and cub just casually slipped this bs into voice chat “i mean everyone knows i like you but,” and i just fuckin fell apart and i’ve never been more flustered in my life tbh it’s still a really fond memory for me 

but like we both kinda ,, rushed into it and it was kinda sloppy and the relationship fell apart kinda fast and it was sad,, but in retrospect i’m glad we had that experience because went through SO MUCH ShIT together cause of it. like. every single thing life could possibly throw at us it did. more shitty relationships on my part, a failed polyamorous relationship that left all of us in tatters, emotional shitstorms and Real Life being a total dick, but somehow, we stuck through it. cub went from being a bit of a flopped relationship and awkward friendship to being my closest friend, confidante, and someone i knew would come to defend me even when i was 110% convinced i didn’t deserve it. he supported me through all my 500 different identity crises, spearheaded the efforts in my server to adjust to my new pronouns and ultimately boosted my self-esteem more than it’s ever been before. i am who i am now because of his support. 

until recently i tried to keep things kinda down low abt it cause i was with my ex, and even though that relationship was going downhill so so fast i didn’t wanna cross any lines. but we kinda,, re-confessed to each other shortly before the end of it. i had somehow convinced myself that he’d moved on because he did such a good job about keeping it under wraps and being an amazing friend to me even when i bitched to him about my ex and the troubles we were having. i was honestly startled to learn he still loved me through it all. 

and then we got to meet irl a little less than a month ago. *hoo boy*

that was literally the best day of my life, and i’m so sad i only had one day w/ him

his parents hate me so i was so scared of meeting them, but they wanted to see me in person and assess who I really was I guess and i did my best to b polite but i was so scared y’all i was finna Piss Myself right in front of these two and Cub (who was not yet my bf again yet) and my parents didn’t look any better either

but miraculously they didn’t call down a lightning bolt from God on me and they left and cub and i got to wander around the zoo together.

cub was so fuckin cute i can’t e v e n. kept pointing out to me that he was rly nervous/awkward and i was (miraculously) totally calm/cool about it and was like no dude ur good i’m just glad you’re here, i literally don’t expect anything from you (”that’s somehow worse”, i remember him saying) 

then ok there’s this fuckin

train that goes around the zoo and it’s literally just supposed to be for little kids and their mothers but we got on it anyway and That’s Where Stuff Started Happening, right there on that stupid plywood train that went all of 3 miles per hour in a big, 4-minute circle

i don’t remember what he said but it was fuckin adorable and i told him as much and like nudged up against him and was like UR FUCKIN CUTE and he flustered so hard and it was ,, fuckin Light Of My Life man i’ve never been more amazed that so much cute could exist in a single person

and a bit after that (i think) he put his hand on my leg and was like “is this awkward” and i took his hand and held it and was like “hell no it ain’t”

the rest of the day went so much smoother after that breakthrough; he didn’t feel awkward anymore and i kept fuckin STARING AT HIM BC HIS EYES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND I COULDNT BELIEVE HE WAS W/ ME 

he kept sayin some rly sappy shit to me all day and we were both flustered as fuck like a solid 80% of the time i think but i’ve never been happier 

towards the end of the evening we were chillin in my hotel’s lobby, cause my parents went to bed early (we’d been up since 4am) and we wanted a bit of time to ourselves i guess, and 

we were sitting on this couch, next to a fireplace, lookin out like 10 windows while the sun finished setting and he faux-casually goes “y’know i’ve never been kissed” FAM!! FAM I WAS SO NERVOUS I FUCKIN DIE DUDE I WANTED TO KISS HIM LIKE LITERALLY ALL DAY BUT NOW I WAS FINNA DO IT AND MY NERVES!!! MY NERVESSSSS
